jae turned 1 on july 7th. yes, i realize i have much to update on, but i'm not going to. we'll just start from here. katie made the best cake ever for jae's birthday. jimmy chose a character from "avatar: the last airbender" that he really likes: appa. it was pretty much the coolest cake. not to mention, tasted pretty good, too!
jae was spoiled with a bunch of presents and gilbert relatives that came to party with us. i think we will hide half of his toys and re-gift them at christmas. this kid doesn't know what to do with them all!
